The League has been very fortunate to have been given a copy of the 1952 Tournament Programme. In those days a printed programme was sold covering the event (in 1952 it cost 6d (or 2.5p in todays money)). Advertisers helped to cover the costs by taking advertising space and you will probably recognise a few. Additionally many competitors names may well be familiar. NOTE:
FINALS DAY took place on August 30th 2025 at Frinton-on-Sea Lawn Tennis Club.
Notwithstanding a poor weather forecast a sunny days tennis was enjoyed until very near the end of the last two matches when light drizzle arrived. These matches finished indoors. The complete list of results is below.
